I'm using a MAC so its a little different and is kind of limited to somethings. I was able to add different layers but couldn't see the background button to change the outside effects. It was a learning experience with this tool, but I really enjoyed it.
I've been recommending that students take a screen shot of the fractal and not export it as an image, thus keeping all the watermarks off of it... Glad you got it working with a Mac....
